More Meatloaf Please!

Delizioso! No one can resist this Italian twist on ordinary meatloaf!

Meatloaf:
 2 lbs lean ground beef
 1 small onion, diced
 ¼ tsp black pepper
 ¼ tsp salt
 1 egg
 2 end slice from prepared GARLIC PARMESAN BEER BREAD, about 2" thick--crumble well or use food processor
 ½ cup beer, split
 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Sauce:
 1 ZESTY GARLIC DIP MIX
 15 oz tomato sauce
 1 tsp sugar

Preheat oven to 350F.

Mix first 5 ingredients (beef, onion, pepper, salt, egg).

Add beer to bread crumbs. Stir. Add to meat mixture.

In a separate bowl combine tomato sauce, dip mix, and sugar. Stir well.

Add 1/2 cup tomato sauce mixture into meatloaf and work through.

Place 1/2 meatloaf into greased loaf pan. Spread with cheese. Top with remainder of meatloaf. Pour more sauce on top.

Bake @350F for 1 1/2 hours.
